How your car travels from Korea

Cars leave Korea from Busan or Incheon. How they reach you depends on your country: by sea to your nearest port, or by sea and then overland.

Two ways to ship

Ro-Ro (roll-on, roll-off)

The car is driven onto a vehicle carrier and secured on deck. Usually the cheaper option for a single running car. The car must be driveable and cannot carry any personal items.

Container

The car is sealed inside a container, alone or shared with others. Better protection, and the only option for a non-running or damaged car. Slightly more expensive.
